What is Lock-Lift?

Control the Casing. Every Time.

Lock-Lift is designed to set splined PVC well casing in the well after the string has been assembled and is hanging from the top of the well. It is fast, easy, and trouble free to use.

The tool prevents the possibility of losing control of the PVC while setting it in place. When a tape measure is used as the release line, it also gives an accurate indication of the depth to which the Lock-Lift and the string of PVC casing are set.

Lock-Lift also allows easy retrieval of the PVC casing from the well when necessary — fast, and without the need to have a drilling rig over the well. Sand locks become unnecessary.

How It Works

Simple Process.
Reliable Results.

Attach to Winch

Hook the Lock-Lift to a winch line (rotation-resistant recommended) and connect the release line — a fiberglass measuring tape works perfectly, giving depth readout as you go.

Insert into Casing

Insert the Lock-Lift into the bell end of the splined PVC well casing already hanging at the top of the well. The segmented disk locks into the casing groove automatically.

Lower to Depth

Lift to remove any external clamp, then lower the Lock-Lift and PVC string to the bottom of the well under full control. No outward pressure is placed on the PVC — no splitting risk.

Release & Retrieve

Pull the release line to retract the segmented disk to a smaller diameter. The Lock-Lift releases cleanly from the casing bell and is retrieved from the well — job done.

Works on Solvent Weld Casing

Lock-Lift can also be used on solvent weld PVC casing by inserting through the top piece and lifting from the bell of the second — versatile across casing types.
